Scruton Pond Music is a series of monthly events open to a wide varitey of players, songwriters, performers and music fans. The series offers a multitude of events such as a montly old-time jam, songwriter's group, open jam, and occasional concert and workshop. Genres typically represented at the series include acoustic music such as American, world and contemporary folk, Americana, singer-songwrtier, old-time, bluegrass, blues, country, cajun, celtic and beyond.

Old-time Jam

Join in on a monthly traditional old-time string band jam featuring fiddles, banjos, and other acoustic instruments.

Bring your acoustic instrument of choice and a few traditional instrumental tunes for this monthly old-time jam. We'll celebrate the old-time fiddle tradition of Appalachia, the Midwest, New England, and beyond. This session is led by Woody Pringle and is open to all including players and spectators.

Enjoy a casual acoustic jam that welcomes a variety of instruments and genres.
