With combined decades-worth of experience, The Heron Bluegrass Company pays homage to classic bluegrass. The band covers some wide ground from Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, and The Stanley Brothers to Charlie Poole, The Carter Family, and Uncle Dave Macon to Doc Watson, Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard. The group’s high energy live performances hearken back to bluegrass music’s raw and raucous roots.

The band features Scott Heron on guitar, Lonesome Dave Kiphuth on banjo, Bob Kordas on Dobro, Jed Rosen on bass and Old Time Dave Talmage on fiddle.
