Ossipee Valley Music Festival

The Ossipee Valley Music Festival is Maine’s premiere roots music festival. It’s a wonderful event that takes place every July in South Hiram, ME along the banks of the Ossipee River. This project was a complete redesign of a large WordPress website that included not only an overhaul of the aesthetics, but also a code revamp and performance improvement on the back-end.

Digital Performer 9

Digital Performer, MOTU’s flagship software, has some deep roots. Its origins go all the way back to 1985 and has been used by professionals in the music and film industry ever since. To help promote the release of Digital Performer 9 which included a design update to the graphic user interface, new webpages touting its new features were created. Layout, colors, and graphics were carefully chosen to showcase the sleek and modern app and give users an in-depth glimpse into the new enhancements.

Schilling Beer Co.

This past iteration of Schilling Beer Co.’s website was inspired by the brewer’s high-quality product as well as its scenic and historic location. Quality photography was selected and displayed prominently throughout the site in concert with sleek yet organic fonts and layout.

The Raven

This live session features Green Heron performing their song, The Raven. A single camera, an array of microphones, and plenty of lighting was used to create a warm and cozy setting. Used to capture the audio for this session were Audio Technica and Shure condenser microphones and Digital Performer and for the video, a single Canon 6D and Power Director were used.

UltraLite AVB

Part of the AVB line of MOTU audio interfaces, the UltraLite AVB has a wide demographic. Because of its small form factor and portability, the promotional material and product website needed to appeal to both consumers and professionals alike. As such, a sleek and modern aesthetic was chosen and large, inviting graphics were created to showcase the product’s numerous features.

Katherine Towler

Based in Portsmouth, NH, acclaimed author Katherine Towler’s writing exemplifies and brings to life the coastal New England of the past. Along with the 2016 release of her memoir of poet Robert Dunn, The Penny Poet of Portsmouth, a new website was designed and launched. The serene and delicate colors of the book’s cover help to inform the aesthetics of the website and the overall layout and navigation give readers a clear glimpse into Katherine’s other wonderful works.

The folks at The Grooming Emporium care for their customers’ pets and their website needed to reflect their kind, warmth,  and love for animals. Using their logo and color scheme, this site was designed to be clear, simple, inviting and allow users to easily access necessary information.

MachFive

Version 3 of MOTU’s MachFive included a new logo design as well as an update to the color scheme and motif. The graphics and color scheme on the front of the box was carried into the bank of compact discs that included the sound file library that accompanies the software. Each disc has a different graphical composition that helps to indicate its contents and the box itself unifies the collection with a blue “digital age” graphical treatment
